Packaged Kilo Of Cocaine Found In Playa Del Carmen

PLAYA DEL CARMEN.- The municipal police, in coordination with personnel from the National Defense Secretariat (Sedena), seized the package, which apparently contained cocaine inside, after receiving a report to the emergency number 911.

The security elements went to the federal highway Playa del Carmen-Tulum, at kilometer 307 and the federal maritime zone, where the hotel staff informed them that they had seen a rectangular package wrapped in cinnamon tape on the beach.

After inspecting the place, the authorities found that it was a package that apparently contained cocaine inside, which was seized and put at the disposal of the Attorney General’s Office of the Republic.
