The cartel faction FEDI/Músicos, led by Fausto Isidro Meza Flores “El Chapo Isidro” and Óscar Manuel Gastélum Iribe “El Músico,” attacked a Cessna plane with high-powered weapons in the mountains of Guadalupe y Calvo, then finished it off with an explosive drone once it was on the ground. Four occupants survived by a miracle.
The aircraft, which was carrying out an inspection flight for the mining company Drummond Gold Compañía Minera, was attacked from the ground, forcing the pilot to make an emergency landing in Santa Rosalía de Carrizales. Without letting up, the attackers tracked the plane with a drone and destroyed it with explosive charges.
The four crew members—an English businessman, two American geologists, and the pilot from Chihuahua—fled through the hills while the aircraft burned. A military helicopter from Badiraguato rescued them minutes later.

Maybe it was the CIA middling in Mexico. It’s interesting how they were saved by the military.
Good comment!
This is the first time I can recall that a plane was shot down, and it includes footage of a drone trying to finish the job in the video. I wouldn’t be surprised if it were the CIA. And if so, the pressure on Isidro will increase drastically.
