The body of Christian Jael Barajas Lozano, known as “El Taquiza,” was found on the road between Golfo de Santa Clara and the urban area of San Luis Río Colorado, Sonora, during the afternoon of Wednesday, January 24th.
“El Taquiza is the brother of Felipe Eduardo Barajas Lozano, also known as “el Omega”, who is currently under process for the crime of femicide, committed in Culiacán, Sinaloa.”
Little information has emerged about the crime except that the body had gunshot wounds and was wearing a black shirt from the brand Boss, had long hair, and a black vest; the remains were found at the 50th kilometer mark, on the road to the Gulf of Santa Clara, one of the operational points of La Chapiza, a criminal group of the Sinaloa Cartel that is in an internal dispute with the Russians, who are considered the owners of the “plaza” throughout the municipality of Mexicali.
Intelligence sources confirmed to ZETA that this is the young member of Los Rusos, although at the moment the motives and specific conditions in which the crime took place are unknown.
Authorities from San Luis Rio Colorado are working at the scene, while elements from the State Attorney General’s Office of that entity have initiated the investigation.
It is presumed that the body was left since dawn, but it wasn’t until several hours later that it was located by the authorities.
